The energy revolution is part of the 21st century, so it’s normal to have tons of questions around it.
To begin, it’s important to understand the way solar panels work, how they transform the energy into electricity and which are the types of panels that you can find in the market.
Besides that, it’s crucial to schedule an appointment with a solar panel specialist in order to check the amount of panels you will need to maintain your home. Contact us through our web page and the customer service team will contact you as soon as possible.
How do solar panels transform energy?
The solar rays are composed of photons that reach the photovoltaic cells of the panel, generating a field of electricity between them and, therefore, an electrical circuit. The more intense the light, the greater the flow of electricity.
Photovoltaic cells convert sunlight into electricity in the form of direct current and with a graduation that varies between 380 and 800 volts. To improve the result obtained, an inverter is used that transforms this energy into alternating current, which is what we use in our homes.
Types of solar panels
In the market you will find three types of panels. There is the monocrystalline, polycrystalline and thin-film. Here you’ll see each one of them.
- Monocrystalline
- Polycrystalline
- Thin-film
