\u00a1Hablemos de incentivos a la energ\u00eda solar! La Certificaci\u00f3n de Energ\u00eda Solar Renovable (conocida en ingl\u00e9s por sus siglas SREC) es un programa de incentivos basado en el desempe\u00f1o que permite a los propietarios de viviendas y empresas (con paneles solares instalados) obtener ingresos adicionales de la generaci\u00f3n de electricidad solar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta certificaci\u00f3n se cre\u00f3 debido a los est\u00e1ndares de cartera renovable (conocida por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s como RPS), que deben tener servicios p\u00fablicos para comenzar a producir un porcentaje espec\u00edfico de su energ\u00eda a partir de fuentes renovables. Para satisfacer esta necesidad, las empresas de servicios p\u00fablicos compran Certificados de Energ\u00eda Renovable (conocida por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s como REC). Lo que tambi\u00e9n se conoce como cr\u00e9ditos de energ\u00eda renovable. Este tipo de certificados se consideran una prueba que garantizan la producci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable que tienen los ciudadanos por s\u00ed mismos o que obtienen por contratar a alguien que les est\u00e9 produciendo energ\u00eda renovable, por lo que esto contar\u00e1 como su propia generaci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda renovable tambi\u00e9n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Diferencias entre SRECs y RECs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seguramente debe estarse preguntando las diferencias entre cada t\u00e9rmino. Los SREC son un tipo de REC, pero relacionados con la energ\u00eda que proviene de las tecnolog\u00edas solares. La contabilidad funciona exactamente igual para ambos y al igual que los REC, se compran y venden para transferir el derecho a contar las energ\u00edas renovables. En el caso de los SREC, se pueden comprar y vender para transferir el derecho a contar la electricidad solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SREC es un ingreso m\u00e1s a su bolsillo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Algunos estados han regulado el mercado SREC para facilitar la venta de estos. Lo anterior, significa que si vive en un estado con un mercado regulado por SREC, no podr\u00e1 vender sus certificados directamente a las empresas de servicios p\u00fablicos. En cambio, le resultar\u00e1 mejor trabajar con un corredor (especializado en SRECTrade o SolSystems) para monetizar sus certificados y ganar dinero con ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En caso de que se est\u00e9 preguntando cu\u00e1nto podr\u00eda estar ganando, perm\u00edtame informarle que un sistema solar de 10 kW producir\u00e1 de 10 a 13 MWh de electricidad por a\u00f1o, aproximadamente. Esto significa que podr\u00eda ganar de 10 a 13 SREC al a\u00f1o. Es importante tener en cuenta que cada estado var\u00eda en el rendimiento financiero de la energ\u00eda solar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
