La Comisi\u00f3n de Servicios P\u00fablicos de Orlando (conocida por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s como OUC) y la ciudad de Orlando acaban de establecer un plan que tiene como objetivo alentar a todas las organizaciones a convertirse en 100% dependientes de energ\u00eda solar para 2030. Su requisito inicial para que las empresas participantes alcancen ese objetivo para 2030 es comenzar con un 10% de energ\u00eda solar y, por lo tanto, las empresas podr\u00e1n aumentar esa cantidad gradualmente durante los pr\u00f3ximos 9 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A partir de ahora, muchas empresas se han sumado al programa solar de OUC siendo beneficiarias de las ventajas econ\u00f3micas como el mantenimiento del sistema solar. Seg\u00fan Clint Bullock, CEO de OUC, las empresas pueden acceder al mantenimiento de forma gratuita sin asumir la log\u00edstica y los costos relacionados con el sistema solar. Un paso importante hacia el objetivo de energ\u00eda limpia de Orlando es la transici\u00f3n de la fuente de energ\u00eda que usamos actualmente en nuestros edificios a fuentes de energ\u00eda renovable como la solar. Este objetivo se logra a trav\u00e9s del programa Community Solar de OUC, lo que implica que m\u00e1s energ\u00eda limpia alimentar\u00e1 la energ\u00eda en nuestra ciudad. El t\u00e9rmino \"comunidad\" significa que todos podemos hacer parte de este proyecto para acelerar la transici\u00f3n a un medio ambiente m\u00e1s limpio y saludable en la ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beneficios de participar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Disminuir los costos de la energ\u00eda solar a medida que crece el programa.<\/li>
  2. Ser reconocido como l\u00edder del proyecto de energ\u00edas renovables.<\/li>
